पार्वत्याः पितृगृहगमनं तथा मङ्गलस्वागतम् | Pārvatī’s Return to Her Father’s House and the Auspicious Welcome

ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च बंदिभ्यः पर्वतेन्द्रो धनं ददौ । मङ्गलं पाठयामास स द्विजेभ्यो महोत्सवम्

Transliteration

brāhmaṇebhyaśca baṃdibhyaḥ parvatendro dhanaṃ dadau | maṅgalaṃ pāṭhayāmāsa sa dvijebhyo mahotsavam

Translation

Le Seigneur des Montagnes (Himālaya) fit don de richesses aux brāhmaṇas et aux bardes. Puis il fit réciter par les deux-fois-nés des bénédictions de bon augure, célébrant l’événement comme une grande fête.
