Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
The verse highlights how divine grace is often preceded by “maṅgala” (auspicious indications) that steady the devotee’s mind; Kumāra’s movement toward his father Śiva signifies the soul’s turning toward Pati (the Lord) when signs of благessing and inner clarity arise.
Kumāra going to his father’s abode underscores approaching Śiva in a personal, Saguna form—seeking the Lord’s presence and shelter. In Shiva Purana practice, this same movement is mirrored by going to a Śiva-mandira/Śiva-liṅga for darśana after receiving auspicious prompts.
A practical takeaway is to respond to auspicious moments by turning to Śiva—visit a Śiva temple, offer bilva leaves or water to the liṅga, and mentally repeat the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with gratitude and steadiness.
