ब्रह्मोवाच । रते तु तिष्ठतो वीर्यं पपात वसुधातले । मया ज्ञातममोघं तच्छंकरस्य प्रकोपतः

brahmovāca | rate tu tiṣṭhato vīryaṃ papāta vasudhātale | mayā jñātamamoghaṃ tacchaṃkarasya prakopataḥ

Brahmā dit : Tandis qu’il demeurait dans l’union amoureuse, le vīrya (la semence) tomba sur la surface de la terre. Par la colère de Śaṅkara, je compris que cette puissance était infaillible, jamais vaine.
