Skanda étant absent, Umā aussi tomba dans la douleur. Dans sa détresse, elle dit humblement à son Seigneur : «Ô Maître, ô Prabhu, va là-bas avec moi.»
Suta Goswami (narrating the episode; reporting Umā’s words to Shiva)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Umā
Role: nurturing
It shows Umā’s human-like grief transformed into śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge) in Pati, Shiva—teaching that in separation and suffering, the highest support is turning to the Lord with devotion.
Umā addresses Shiva as “Prabhu” and “Svāmin,” emphasizing Saguna Shiva as the compassionate, accessible Lord who responds to devotees’ needs—mirrored in Linga worship where devotees approach Shiva as the living refuge.
A practical takeaway is to approach Shiva with prayer and japa—especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—offering one’s grief to the Lord with steady bhakti (optionally with bhasma and rudrākṣa as Shaiva aids).
