FAQs

The verse frames Siddhi (spiritual accomplishment) and Buddhi (higher discernment) as divinely-originating, auspicious powers—suggesting that true attainment and clarity arise through dharma and ultimately mature in devotion to Pati (Shiva) in the Shaiva Siddhanta sense.

By highlighting divine, auspicious qualities embodied as Siddhi and Buddhi, the text supports Saguna worship: through reverence of Shiva’s manifest form (including Linga worship), the devotee’s buddhi becomes purified and siddhi becomes aligned to liberation rather than mere worldly power.

A practical takeaway is mantra-japa—especially the Panchakshara (Om Namah Shivaya)—with Tripundra (bhasma) and Rudraksha as supports, undertaken to refine buddhi (discernment) and orient siddhi (attainments) toward Shiva-realization.
