The verse presents marriage as a dharmic, orderly stage of life under Śiva’s cosmic governance—showing how auspicious household life can support stability, devotion, and righteous living rather than obstructing the path to Śiva.
Though the verse narrates a family event, it reflects Saguna Śiva’s grace working through worldly institutions (like Prajāpatis and marriage) to maintain harmony; devotees see such order as arising from Śiva’s sustaining power embodied in Linga-worship.
A practical takeaway is to begin major life-saṃskāras with Śiva and Gaṇeśa remembrance—mentally repeating the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and offering a simple Gaṇeśa invocation for obstacle-removal before undertaking dharmic duties.
