देवादिप्रार्थनां तां च शिवाज्ञासंकुलां गुरुः । न मेने स कुमारो हि महाहंकारविह्वलः

Transliteration

devādiprārthanāṃ tāṃ ca śivājñāsaṃkulāṃ guruḥ | na mene sa kumāro hi mahāhaṃkāravihvalaḥ

Translation

Mais ce Guru, le Kumāra, n’accepta pas la supplication des dieux, bien qu’elle fût chargée de l’ordre de Śiva ; ébranlé par un grand orgueil, il n’y prêta aucune attention.
