Agni as Jātavedas—ritual guide and luminous power who secures faultless sacrifice and protection in the sadas

Par l’éclat du grand signe, Agni s’avance vers les deux mondes; le taureau rugit à pleine voix. Du bord même du ciel il a atteint une grandeur sans pareille; dans le giron des eaux le puissant a grandi.
