ईयुरर्थं न न्यर्थं परुष्णीमाशुश्चनेदभिपित्वं जगाम । सुदास इन्द्रः सुतुकाँ अमित्रानरन्धयन्मानुषे वध्रिवाचः ॥

Transliteration

īyúr árthaṃ ná nyàrthaṃ páruṣṇīm āśúś canéd abhipitváṃ jagāma | su-dā́sa índraḥ su-túkāṃ amítrān árandhayan mā́nuṣe vádhri-vācaḥ ||

Translation

Ils allèrent vers le but, non vers le vain-but ; vite, certes, ils atteignirent le proche établissement sur la Paruṣṇī. Pour Sudās, Indra dompta les ennemis aux coups sûrs, réduisant au silence, dans le domaine des hommes, les voix qui profèrent division et mutilation.
