न ते त इन्द्राभ्यस्मदृष्वायुक्तासो अब्रह्मता यदसन् । तिष्ठा रथमधि तं वज्रहस्ता रश्मिं देव यमसे स्वश्वः ॥

ná te ta indrā́bhy asmá dṛṣvā́yuktāso abrahmatā́ yád ásan | tíṣṭhā rátham ádhi táṃ vajrahastā́ rāśmíṃ deva yamase sváśvaḥ ||

Ce n’est pas de nous, ô Indra, que venaient ces élans mal attelés, lorsqu’ils étaient sans Brahman, sans la Parole qui façonne. Tiens-toi sur ton char; ô porteur du vajra, saisis les rênes, ô dieu aux bons coursiers, et conduis les puissances vers le juste mouvement.
