प्र कारवो मनना वच्यमाना देवद्रीचीं नयत देवयन्तः । दक्षिणावाड्वाजिनी प्राच्येति हविर्भरन्त्यग्नये घृताची ॥

Transliteration

prá kāravó mananā́ vacyámānā devadrī́cīṃ nayata devayántaḥ | dakṣiṇāvā́ḍ vā́jinī prā́cy éti havírbharanty agnáye ghṛtā́cī ||

Translation

Allez de l’avant, ô chanteurs, façonnant la pensée et taillant la parole ; conduisez-la vers les dieux, vous qui désirez les dieux. La puissance porteuse de dons s’avance vers l’Orient, apportant l’oblation à Agni — elle dont la course resplendit de clarté purifiée (ghṛta).
