Sukta 3.31
स जातेभिर्वृत्रहा सेदु हव्यैरुदुस्रिया असृजदिन्द्रो अर्कैः । उरूच्यस्मै घृतवद्भरन्ती मधु स्वाद्म दुदुहे जेन्या गौः ॥
sá jā́tebhir vṛtrahā́ sedu havyaír úd usríyā asṛjad índro arkáiḥ | urū́cy asmai ghṛtávad bhárantī mádhu svā́dma duduhe jényā gáuḥ ||
Lui, le tueur de Vṛtra, prit place avec les offrandes des puissances nées ; Indra, par les hymnes lumineux, lâcha les vaches resplendissantes. Pour lui, la largement rayonnante, apportant l’abondance riche de ghee, la Vache noble, traya la douceur miellée de la joie.
