Sukta 2.31
एता वो वश्म्युद्यता यजत्रा अतक्षन्नायवो नव्यसे सम् । श्रवस्यवो वाजं चकानाः सप्तिर्न रथ्यो अह धीतिमश्याः ॥
etā́ vo vaśmy údyatā yajatrā́ átakṣann ā́yavo návyase sám | śravasyávo vā́jaṃ cakānā́ḥ saptír ná rathyó áha dhī́tim aśyāḥ ||
Ces paroles, pour vous, je les façonne et les dresse, ô dignes du sacrifice ; les voyants les ont refaites à neuf en harmonie. Désireux d’une renommée à entendre, aspirant au vāja, à la plénitude de force, puissions-nous atteindre la pensée — tel un cheval bien attelé au char — rapide sur la route du voyage.
