ततस्तेवानराःसर्वेशोणितौघपरिप्लुताः ।।।।ध्वजवर्मरथानश्वान्नानाप्रहरणानि च ।आप्लुत्याप्लुत्यसमरेवानरेन्द्राबभञ्चिरे ।।।।

Transliteration

tatas te vānarāḥ sarve śoṇitaugha-pariplutāḥ |

dhvaja-varma-rathān aśvān nānā-praharaṇāni ca |

āplutyāplutya samare vānarendrā babhañcire ||

Translation

Alors tous ces vānara, baignés de flots de sang, bondissaient sans cesse dans la mêlée ; et les chefs des vānara brisèrent étendards, cuirasses, chars, chevaux et armes de toutes sortes.
