Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint
सीतादुःखसमाविष्टाविलपन्तीदमब्रवीत् ।।।।यथायंमामभिक्रुद्धःसमभिद्रवतिस्वयम् ।वधिष्यतिसनाथांमामनाथामिवदुर्मतिः ।।।।
sītā duḥkhasamāviṣṭā vilapantī idam abravīt |
yathāyaṃ mām abhikruddhaḥ samabhidravati svayam |
vadhiṣyati sanāthāṃ māṃ anāthām iva durmatiḥ ||
Accablée de chagrin et en pleurs, Sita dit : « Voyez comme cet esprit maléfique, enragé, se précipite sur moi de son propre chef ; il a l'intention de me tuer, comme si j'étais sans défense et sans refuge, alors même que j'ai un protecteur. »
Thus spoke Sita filled with sorrow crying," This evil minded angry one is coming to me to kill me as though I am an orphan even though I have a protector."
