When, the best of Rakshasa, a leader of extraordinary prowess was killed, the Vanara army seeing Lakshmana felt happy and greeted him.
Dharma is upheld through collective effort: allies rejoice not in violence itself, but in the ending of a grave threat to the righteous cause.
Vānara leaders witness the slain Indrajit and celebrate, offering congratulations to Lakṣmaṇa.
Gratitude and solidarity—honoring the one who bore the burden of a decisive, dangerous duty.
