तमिन्द्रकेतुप्रतिमंवृक्षंमन्दरसन्निभम् ।।।।समुत्सृजन्तंवेगेनपश्यतांसर्वरक्षसाम् ।
tam indraketupratimaṃ vṛkṣaṃ mandarasannibham |
samutsṛjantaṃ vegena paśyatāṃ sarvarakṣasām ||
Sous les yeux de tous les rākṣasas, il lança avec force cet arbre, pareil à l'étendard d'Indra et massif comme le mont Mandara.
All the Rakshasas seeing the tall tree, which was like Mandara mountain, resembling Indra's banner hurriedly was about to let loose.
Dharma is portrayed as a public stand against adharma: righteous power is not hidden but asserted openly to restrain wrongdoing.
Angada prepares to throw a huge uprooted tree at speed, and the rākṣasas witness the impending strike.
