Les Rākṣasas, aux corps gigantesques et à la force immense—aux aguets et en fureur—se ruèrent sur les Vānaras, portant épées, boucliers et massues.
Rakshasas wielding swords and mace, endowed with stupendous strength and of huge body agitated and assailed Vanaras.
The verse contrasts disciplined righteous resistance with anger-driven aggression; dharma warns that uncontrolled roṣa (rage) clouds judgment and fuels destructive action.
Rākṣasa warriors surge forward to attack the Vānara forces, armed for close combat.
Readiness and courage (on the battlefield), while implicitly cautioning against rage as a motive.
