The Slaying of Atikāya
सर्वायुधसमायुक्तोधन्वीत्वंरथमास्थितः ।शरैर्वायदिवाप्यस्त्रैर्दर्शयस्वपराक्रमम् ।।।।
sarvāyudha-samāyukto dhanvī tvaṃ ratham āsthitaḥ | śarair vā yadi vāpy astrair darśayasva parākramam ||
Bien que tu sois assis sur ton char en archer équipé de toutes les armes, cet étalage ne prouve rien. Par des flèches, ou par n'importe quelle arme, montre ta valeur.
"You are seated in the chariot with all kinds of weapons collected. By that alone you do not become capable. Show your capacity."
Dharma distinguishes substance from show: external power or armament is not proof of merit; real capability must be demonstrated truthfully.
