The Slaying of Atikāya
न हिमद्बाहुसृष्टानामस्त्राणाहिमवानपि ।सोढुमुत्सहतेवेगमन्तरिक्षमथोमही ।।।।
na hi madbāhusṛṣṭānām astrāṇāṃ himavān api | soḍhum utsahate vegam antarikṣam atho mahī ||
En vérité, même l’Himavān ne saurait supporter l’élan des armes lancées par mon bras ; ni l’espace du ciel, ni même la terre ne peuvent en porter la puissance.
The shafts discharged from my arm can't be borne, by the Himalayas, even the atmosphere between the sky and earth can't bear the force.
