The Slaying of Atikāya
अतिबलमतिकायमभ्रकल्पंयुधिविनिपात्य स लक्ष्मणःप्रहृष्टः ।त्वरितमथतदा स रामपार्श्वंकपिनिवहैश्चसुपूजितोजगाम ।।।।
atibalam atikāyam abhrapalpaṁ yudhi vinipātya sa lakṣmaṇaḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ |
tvaritam atha tadā sa rāma-pārśvaṁ kapi-nivahaiś ca supūjito jagāma ||
Après avoir abattu dans la bataille l’excessivement puissant Atikāya, massif comme un nuage, Lakṣmaṇa, tout réjoui, et dûment honoré par les troupes de vānaras, se hâta alors de rejoindre Rāma à ses côtés.
