तमन्तकमिवक्रुद्धंसद्रुमंप्राणहारिणम् ।हनूमन्तमभिप्रेक्ष्यराक्षसाविप्रदुद्रुवुः ।।6.56.24।।
tam antakam iva kruddhaṃ sa-drumaṃ prāṇahāriṇam |
hanumantam abhiprekṣya rākṣasā vipradudruvuḥ ||6.56.24||
Voyant Hanumān—courroucé tel la Mort elle-même, brandissant un arbre ravisseur de vies—les Rākṣasas s’enfuirent, saisis de panique.
Hanuman, enraged like the spirit of death, took their life (Rakshasas) armed with trees and on seeing him the Rakshasas took to their heels.
