सुपर्णागमनम्
Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
ततस्सुपर्णःकाकुत्स्थौस्पृष्टवाप्रत्यभिनदनितः ।विममर्शचपाणिभ्यांमुखेचन्द्रसमप्रभे ।।6.50.38।।
tataḥ suparṇaḥ kākutsthau spṛṣṭvā pratyabhinandya ca |
vimamarśa ca pāṇibhyāṃ mukhe candrasamaprabhe ||6.50.38||
Alors Suparṇa (Garuḍa), ayant touché et honoré les deux rejetons de la lignée de Kakutstha, essuya doucement de ses mains leurs visages à l’éclat de lune.
Caressed by Garuda, both their bodies were cleared of wounds instantly shone like gold and turned bright.
