Même les Vānaras, le voyant ainsi, furent saisis d’une affliction extrême ; tourmentés par le chagrin, ils poussèrent de terribles cris, les yeux pleins de larmes.
Both Rama and Lakshmana were pierced by furious Indrajith with serpents like arrows furious.
Compassionate loyalty as dharma: the allies’ grief shows righteous bonds—standing with the good not only in triumph but also in apparent defeat.
After Rāma is struck down/immobilized by Indrajit’s weapons, the Vānara forces witness his condition and break into cries of despair.
Bhakti-like fidelity and compassion—deep emotional solidarity with a righteous leader.
