यद्वाविशसिलोकांस्त्रीन्पक्षीभूतोमनोजवः ।ममचक्षुष्पथंप्राप्यनजीवन्प्रतियास्यसि ।।6.41.72।।
yad vā viśasi lokāṁs trīn pakṣī-bhūto mano-javaḥ | mama cakṣuṣ-patham prāpya na jīvan pratiyāsyasi ||6.41.72||
Ô toi dont l’esprit est rapide, quand bien même tu entrerais dans les trois mondes et deviendrais tel un oiseau, dès que tu tomberas dans le champ de mon regard, tu ne reviendras pas vivant.
"O Ravana! You have no control over your mind, and if you come in the range of my eyesight and enter the three worlds also you will not go alive again."
Dharma here is kṣātra-dharma: the righteous king’s duty to confront adharma decisively. Rama declares that wrongdoing cannot escape accountability, even by flight or disguise.
Rama issues a stern warning to Ravana in the war context, asserting that once Ravana comes into Rama’s range, he will not survive.
