Alors Saramā réjouit Sītā—dont la peine s’était levée et dont l’esprit avait été troublé par ces paroles—comme l’eau de pluie ranime la terre desséchée.
Thus, Sita's agony was put off by Saarana's consoling words and Sita was glad just as the parched earth was delighted with shower of rain.
Dharma includes compassionate support to the afflicted; Saramā’s consoling action is portrayed as life-giving, like rain to a scorched land.
After troubling developments in Laṅkā, Sītā is in renewed anguish; the narration highlights Saramā’s consoling presence and effect.
Saramā’s kindness and emotional intelligence—she restores hope through timely reassurance.
