शार्दूलचरवृत्तान्तः
Saardula’s Spy-Report on Rama’s Camp and the Vanara Host
नापिसम्भाषितुंशक्यास्सम्प्रश्नोऽत्रनलभ्यते ।सर्वतोरक्ष्यतेपन्थावानरैःपर्वतोपमै ।।6.30.6।।
nāpi sambhāṣituṁ śakyāḥ sampraśno ’tra na labhyate |
sarvato rakṣyate panthā vānaraiḥ parvatopamaiḥ ||6.30.6||
Il n’est même pas possible de converser avec eux ; nulle question ne peut y être posée. De tous côtés, le passage est gardé par des vānara pareils à des montagnes.
