Laṅkā est embellie par des bois en fleurs, pareils au merveilleux jardin de Citraratha ; des forêts de bon augure, riches de fruits et de fleurs, résonnent des cris d’oiseaux innombrables.
"Lanka is filled with flocks of birds of several kinds singing sweetly, the gardens with charming flowers and fruits are delighting like auspicious gardens of Chaitrara, the garden of Kubera, the god of wealth."
Aesthetic prosperity is ethically neutral; dharma depends on conduct. The verse helps students distinguish beauty from moral legitimacy.
Laṅkā’s gardens and groves are described in vivid, pleasing imagery even as war looms.
Balanced perception—appreciating beauty while remaining committed to righteous purpose.
