आत्मानंमानुषंमन्येरामंदशरथात्मजम् ।।।।सोऽहंयस्ययतश्चाहंभगववंस्तद्भ्रवीतुमे ।
ātmānaṃ mānuṣaṃ manye rāmaṃ daśarathātmajam | so'haṃ yasya yataś cāhaṃ bhagavaṃs tad bravītu me ||6.120.11||
Je me tiens pour un homme : Rāma, fils de Daśaratha. Aussi, ô Bienheureux, dis-le-moi en vérité : à qui appartiens-je, et d’où suis-je venu ?
"I am Dasharatha's son, a human and thinking to be Rama. Tell me O divine creator, from where and whence I am here."
