रावणस्य अन्त्येष्टिः
Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct
यदातेतनयश्शस्तोलक्ष्मणेनेन्द्रजिद्युधि ।।।।तदात्वभिहतातीव्रमद्यत्वस्मिनिपातिता ।
yadā te tanayaḥ śasto lakṣmaṇenendrajid yudhi | tadā tv abhihatā tīvram adya tv asmin nipātitā ||
Lorsque ton fils Indrajit fut abattu au combat par Lakṣmaṇa, alors je fus cruellement blessée par le chagrin ; et aujourd’hui, toi aussi, tu es tombé ici, terrassé.
