तान्यैवेतानि मन्येऽहं यानि रामोऽन्वकीर्तयत्।।5.15.43।।तत्र यान्यवहीनानि तान्यहं नोपलक्षये।यान्यस्या नावहीनानि तानीमानि न संशयः।।5.15.44।।
tāny eva etāni manye ’haṃ yāni rāmo ’nvakīrtayat || 5.15.43 ||
tatra yāny avahīnāni tāny ahaṃ nopalakṣaye |
yāny asyā nāvahīnāni tānīmāni na saṃśayaḥ || 5.15.44 ||
«Ce sont forcément les mêmes parures que Rāma a décrites. Celles dont on sait qu’elles furent laissées tomber, je ne les vois pas ici ; celles qui ne furent pas laissées tomber, ce sont celles-ci—il n’y a pas de doute.»
"I think these ornaments are the same that were described by Rama. Those dropped (by Sita) are not found on her body. These were not dropped.There is no doubt."
