अशोकवनिकायां सीतादर्शनम्
Sita Seen in the Ashoka Grove
तान्यैवेतानि मन्येऽहं यानि रामोऽन्वकीर्तयत्।।।।तत्र यान्यवहीनानि तान्यहं नोपलक्षये।यान्यस्या नावहीनानि तानीमानि न संशयः।।।।
tāny eva etāni manye ’haṃ yāni rāmo ’nvakīrtayat ||
tatra yāny avahīnāni tāny ahaṃ nopalakṣaye |
yāny asyā nāvahīnāni tānīmāni na saṃśayaḥ ||
«Je crois que ce sont bien là les mêmes parures que Rāma a décrites. Celles qu’elle avait laissées tomber auparavant, je ne les vois pas sur elle à présent ; mais celles qu’elle n’a pas laissées tomber—les voici, sans aucun doute.»
"I think these ornaments are the same that were described by Rama. Those dropped (by Sita) are not found on her body. These were not dropped.There is no doubt."
