King Janaka approached the aged ruler of men, Dasaratha, and experienced great delight.
Dharma as familial harmony and rightful hospitality: reunion within the family and respectful honoring between kings supports social righteousness and peace.
After meeting in Mithilā, Daśaratha sees Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa and, honored by Janaka, rests there satisfied.
Gratitude and contentment in Daśaratha; generosity and respect in Janaka.
