Alors, profondément bouleversées, les assemblées de rishis, avec les devas et les asuras, s’adressèrent au magnanime Viśvāmitra en paroles d’apaisement et de supplication.
Struck with wonder and fear, hosts of rishis, suras and asuras humbly addressed Viswamitra.
When order is threatened, dharma favors respectful counsel and de-escalation—approaching even a powerful ascetic with humility to prevent harm.
As Viśvāmitra begins a radical act of creation in anger, sages, gods, and asuras unite to placate him and avert cosmic disruption.
Humility and prudent speech (vinaya, hitavacana) are emphasized by the petitioners.
