We will cross over Ganga, the best of rivers, the sacred river that flows in three directions. This boat of pious saints which is well laid-out has come here swiftly, having come to know that you, O Venerable one! have arrived".
Honoring and assisting the righteous (ṛṣis) and treating sacred spaces with reverence are dharmic; service (sevā) supports the continuity of spiritual life.
Rāma proposes crossing the Gaṅgā and notes that a boat has arrived promptly, prepared for sages, upon learning of Viśvāmitra’s presence.
Readiness to serve and reverence: Rāma’s words reflect respect for the sage and awareness of sacred geography.
