Transliteration

atyadbhutam idaṃ brahman kathitaṃ paramaṃ tvayā | gaṅgāvataraṇaṃ puṇyaṃ sāgarasyāpi pūraṇam ||

Translation

Ô connaisseur du Brahman, ce que tu as raconté est souverainement merveilleux : la sainte descente de la Gaṅgā, et comment, par elle, l’océan lui-même fut rempli.
