Commencement and Performance of Daśaratha’s Aśvamedha
ऐन्द्रश्च विधिवद्दत्तो राजा चाभिषुतोऽनघः।
माध्यन्दिनं च सवनं प्रावर्तत यथाक्रमम्॥
aindraś ca vidhivad datto rājā cābhiṣuto ’naghaḥ | mādhyandinaṃ ca savanaṃ prāvartata yathākramam ||
La part consacrée à Indra fut offerte selon le rite, et le Soma sans tache fut pressé. Le savana de midi se déroula lui aussi, dans l’ordre et la succession prescrits.
