Vois ces paons, si beaux à regarder, pris de frayeur, et les oiseaux qui se hâtent d’entrer dans leurs demeures, leurs nids.
Behold, these lovely frightened peacocks and other birds hurriedly entering their nests.
Dharma includes restraint and awareness: even a rightful expedition disturbs living beings, so righteous action implies mindfulness and minimizing harm.
As the party advances, the commotion frightens peacocks and birds, which rush back to their nests; Bharata draws Śatrughna’s attention to this.
Sensitivity and observant compassion—Bharata notices the effects of human movement on the forest’s creatures.
