Ayant entendu les paroles de bon augure de Rāghava et en ayant saisi l’intention, le grand muni Bharadvāja prit alors la parole, répondant avec justesse.
On hearing the auspicious words of Rama conveying his intention, the great sage Bharadwaja replied to him thus:
Dharma in dialogue: a wise teacher listens, understands intention (artha), and responds with guidance suited to the seeker’s ethical aim.
The narration signals that Bharadvāja has understood Rāma’s request for seclusion and is about to recommend a suitable place.
Bharadvāja’s insight and pedagogical care—responding not merely to words but to the purpose behind them.
