Arrival at Bharadvāja’s Hermitage and Counsel toward Citrakūṭa
अवकाशो विविक्तोऽयं महानद्योस्समागमे।पुण्यश्च रमणीयश्च वसत्विह भवान् सुखम्।।।।
avakāśo vivikto ’yaṃ mahānadyos samāgame | puṇyaś ca ramaṇīyaś ca vasatv iha bhavān sukham ||
Ce lieu, vaste et retiré, se trouve au confluent de deux grands fleuves ; il est saint et charmant — demeure ici dans la quiétude.
This sacred and solitary region near the confluence of two great rivers (Ganga and Yamuna) is a pleasant place. You may stay here comfortably.
