S’étant levé, le radieux Râma contempla ces sujets, puis s’adressa à son frère Lakshmana, aux signes de bon augure.
On getting up, the brilliant Rama looked at his subjects and said to his brother Lakshmana full of noble qualities:
Dharma as responsible awareness: Rama first assesses the condition of his people and then addresses Lakshmana, modeling leadership that begins with attentive observation.
At dawn after the night halt, Rama wakes, notices the gathered subjects, and begins a conversation with Lakshmana.
Thoughtful leadership: Rama’s alertness to others’ presence and welfare.
