Gifts to Suyajna and the Brahmins; Trijata’s Petition and Rama’s Charity
ततश्शासन माज्ञाय भ्रातु श्शुभतरं प्रियम्।गत्वा स प्रविवेशाशु सुयज्ञस्य निवेशनम्।।।।
tataḥ śāsanam ājñāya bhrātuḥ śubhataraṃ priyam | gatvā sa praviveśāśu suyajñasya niveśanam ||
Ensuite, ayant compris l’accueil bienveillant et l’injonction très auspicious de son frère, il s’y rendit aussitôt et entra dans la demeure de Suyajña.
Lakshmana having understood the very auspicious and welcome order (of Rama) immediately proceeded to the house of Suyajna.
Dharma appears as prompt execution of a rightful instruction: Lakshmaṇa does not delay when duty is assigned by his elder brother.
After receiving Rāma’s directive, Lakshmaṇa immediately goes to Suyajña’s house.
Reliability and disciplined obedience—he translates intention into swift, orderly action.
