अयोध्याकाण्डे षड्विंशः सर्गः
Rama’s Departure and Sita’s Questions; Disclosure of Exile and Counsel on Courtly Conduct
इतीव विलपन्तीं तां प्रोवाच रघुनन्दनः।सीते तत्र भवांस्तातः प्रव्राजयति मां वनम्।।।।
itīva vilapantīṃ tāṃ provāca raghunandanaḥ | sīte tatra bhavān tātaḥ pravrājayati māṃ vanam ||
Tandis qu’elle se lamentait ainsi, Rāma, joie de la lignée des Raghu, dit : «Sītā, là-bas mon vénérable père m’envoie en exil dans la forêt».
O Sita! my venerable father is banishing me to the forest, said Rama, the scion of the Raghus, the joy of the Raghu race, seeing her thus lamenting.
