अनसूयोपदेशः तथा सीताया स्वयंवरकथा
Anasuya’s Counsel and Sita’s Swayamvara Narrative
सावित्री पतिशुश्रूषां कृत्वा स्वर्गे महीयते।तथावृत्तिश्च याता त्वं पतिशुश्रूषया दिवम्।।2.118.10।।
sāvitrī patiśuśrūṣāṃ kṛtvā svarge mahīyate | tathāvṛttiś ca yātā tvaṃ patiśuśrūṣayā divam ||
Sāvitrī, par son service dévoué envers son époux, est honorée au ciel ; toi aussi, suivant cette même voie, tu atteindras le ciel par un tel service.
Having served her husband (faithfully), Savitri is honoured in heaven. You also, byfollowing the same path of serving your husband, shall reach the heaven.
