अयोध्याप्रवेशः
Bharata Enters Ayodhya and Perceives the City’s Desolation
स्निग्धगम्भीरघोषेण स्यन्दनेनोपयान्प्रभुः। अयोध्यां भरतः क्षिप्रं प्रविवेश महायशाः।।2.114.1।।
snigdha-gambhīra-ghoṣeṇa syandanenopayān prabhuḥ | ayodhyāṃ bharataḥ kṣipraṃ praviveśa mahāyaśāḥ ||
Monté sur un char au grondement profond et doux, Bharata, seigneur de grande renommée, entra promptement dans Ayodhyā.
Bharata, the renowned lord (of Ayodhya) travelled on the chariot that produced a deep, soothing, sound. And entered Ayodhya soon.
The verse frames Bharata’s movement as that of a responsible ruler returning to the seat of duty; dharma in kingship includes timely presence and accountability to the realm.
After the encounter and negotiations concerning Rāma, Bharata travels back and enters Ayodhyā.
Bharata’s dutiful urgency and sense of responsibility toward the kingdom.
