भरतस्य प्रार्थना—रामस्य धर्मोपदेशः
Bharata’s Petition and Rama’s Dharma-Reasoning
एभिश्च सचिवैस्सार्धं शिरसा याचितो मया।भ्रातु शिष्यस्य दासस्य प्रसादं कर्तुमर्हसि।।।।
ebhiś ca sacivaiḥ sārdhaṃ śirasā yācito mayā | bhrātuḥ śiṣyasya dāsasya prasādaṃ kartum arhasi ||
La tête inclinée, je t’implore avec ces ministres : daigne m’accorder ta faveur, à moi qui me tiens devant toi comme frère, disciple et serviteur.
With my head bowed down, I beseech you along with all these ministers to show favour to me who is your brother, disciple and slave.
