Bharata Affirms Lineage-Dharma and Urges Rama’s Coronation
Therefore, O scion of the Raghu race, return along with me to prosperous Ayodhya and for the good of our race get your self coronated.
Social welfare is secured when rightful authority is restored; dharma requires placing the legitimate heir on the throne for the good of the realm and dynasty.
Bharata formally requests Rāma to return from exile and accept coronation to heal the political and moral rupture in Ayodhyā.
Self-effacement and devotion to rightful kingship—Bharata seeks the kingdom’s good, not personal gain.
