रोहिण्यजनयद् गावो गन्धर्वी वाजिनः सुतान्।

सुरसाऽजनयन्नागान्राम कद्रूस्तु पन्नगान्।।3.14.28।।

rohiṇy ajanayad gāvo gandharvī vājinaḥ sutān |

surasā janayan nāgān rāma kadrūs tu pannagān ||3.14.28||

Rohiṇī enfanta les vaches ; Gandharvī mit au monde les chevaux pour descendance. Surasā, ô Rāma, engendra les nāga, tandis que Kadrū enfanta les autres serpents.
