क्व मातर्गच्छसीत्युक्त्वा रुदद्भिर्धावितं पुनः । विष्टभ्य चरणौ देव्या वीरको बाष्पगद्गदः

kva mātargacchasītyuktvā rudadbhirdhāvitaṃ punaḥ | viṣṭabhya caraṇau devyā vīrako bāṣpagadgadaḥ

En pleurant, il courut de nouveau derrière elle en disant : «Mère, où vas-tu ?» Alors Vīraka, la voix étranglée par les larmes, s’agrippa fermement aux pieds de la Déesse.
