Brahmā’s Puṣkara Sacrifice and the Manifestation of Sarasvatī

अस्मिंस्तीर्थे दर्शनेन मुखस्येह सुरूपता । मुखदर्शनमित्येव नाम कृत्वा तु तापसाः

asmiṃstīrthe darśanena mukhasyeha surūpatā | mukhadarśanamityeva nāma kṛtvā tu tāpasāḥ

En ce tīrtha sacré, par la seule contemplation du visage ici, le visage de l’homme devient beau en ce monde même. C’est pourquoi les ascètes lui donnèrent le nom de « Mukhadarśana », la Vision du Visage.
